Hi,

Diacerin is given for the treatment of osteoarthritis. It's side effect is mainly related to gastrointestinal tract such as diarrhea and cramps. There might be change in the colour of urine.
You can continue with diacerin after food. and if pain increases discontinue it and consult your treating doctor.
