Any Advice For Chest X-ray That Shows Slight Start Of Emphysema ?

I am 51 female who smoked for 5 years when I was a teenager but gave up when I was 21, just recently I had my year check up and my blood cholesterol, sugar and FBC were excellent but I had a chest xray that shower a slight start of emphysema, can you give ne some advice on how to keep myself healthy now. Thank you Anna Cook

Hi and welcome to HCM. Thanks for the query.
There is no specific treatment but avoid smoking and other bad factors such as obesity, living in smoked areas, physcial inactivity. If you dont have symptoms such as breathing difficutlies,coughing and dyspnea then you dont have to be worried and no treatment is neccesary. Wish you good health. Regards
