Abscess In Throat, Prescribed With Clindamycin. Have Allergy Towards Amoxicillan. Suggestion?

hello, I was diagnosed with an abcess in my throat today at the ER and they gave me a prescription for clindamycin . I m highly allergic to amoxiciilan. HOwever they did give me i believe 4ML of clindamycin before I left the ER in my muscle and I seem to have felt fine. IM so nervous to take it by mouth, do you think if i handled the shot form I wont have a side effect from oral form?

thanks for your query at HCM
if you are given drug by IM route and your allergic you would have developed allergic symptoms then only,
now you can take drug orally.
clindamycin and amoxicillin are different group of antibiotics.
but after taking drug orally if have any symptoms of allergy visit doctor immediately.
