Hi there XXXXXXX I'm going to try and answer all your questions by the numbers. To do so though I'm going to have to give you some background info on the topics you;ve touched upon here.

Lets first talk about Autoimmune disorders. I'm sure you have a reasonable good background in this as you suffer from one of them. But the main thing i want to impress upon you is how difficult it is to nail down WHY these disorders happen. We are still at a stage that we have some testable theories when it comes to the causes and genetic mutations that have to occur to have something like Lupus or CREST syndrome. But we have never been able to reproduce them in human models. There is research going on in Genetic manipulation in Animals to try and cure Autoimmune disease.. but right now it's just research.

1) I don't believe you will be able to find anyone outside of an NIH funded study who is willing to try the therapy you envision. And even there you will have trouble finding ongoing research because Stem Cell research is still relatively new on XXXXXXX shores.

2) Leaky gut.. AKA Intestinal permeability. The thing is.. medical science doesn't really recognize leaky gut 'syndrome' as a real syndrome.. The thing is the gut is SUPPOSED to be permeable to alot of minerals and molecules so as to allow their absorption into the blood stream. The talk of curing leaky gut syndrome is supported mostly by people who practice Alternative medicine. Right now I am skeptical of the whole conversation going on around this. And in either case.. alternative or main stream.. both sets of experts have no cure for the syndrome. I'm going to link you to an article on the same. 3) I looked through the winners of the Nobel peace prize to see if I could find any practicing physicians among them.. and to see if any of them did any work in the field of auto immune disorders. I couldn't find any.

Did you mean Nobel Laureates in Medicine by any chance? If so then I can tell you that Dr. XXXXXXX Sudhof, a professor of molecular and cellular physiology at Stanford University was awarded the Nobel Prize in medicine along with XXXXXXX Schekman and XXXXXXX Rothman (molecular biologists both) in 2013. The prize was awarded for work in cell signaling leading to a greater understanding in autoimmune disorders, among many other things.

4) Personally I would say the the autoimmune research center at Johns XXXXXXX is where I would take MY family if there were an autoimmune issue. But that's a personal decision. I have no research to prove one way or another saying who is better or worse. When I was at Monmouth in NJ, I had the chance to do some work with some of the guys out of that program and they were top notch. You can take that for what it's worth.. a personal endorsement.
