Question: Hi Dear Doc, I have been troubled with Irregular mensuration cycle from the beginning. I am married in Nov'2010 , i.e, Three and half yrs back and have a Kid( Boy) born in Feb'2012 . I had my period regularized after delivery but again the trouble shoot up again now. I have recently visited a near by Gynic. Feed back from her is: 1) She said that am over weight (ht -5.4 and wt-74kgs and need to reduce which is one of the reasons for my problem. But i have the problem from the initial days so how could the problem only with my weight. 2) I have less fertility chances as the Ovules are not good enough. - but where as at my maternity time another doctor who has checked up said that every thing was fine at that time. I would like to have second opinion on the report. I have the reports scanned by couldn't understand how to upload. Kindly suggest.

Brief Answer: You should not worried about your problem. Detailed Answer: Hi, Thank for writing to us. In my opinion please do not be worried. You have a kid and you had regular cycle after delivery. Your problem needs some evaluation. Here are some suggestion for you- 1) Reduce your weight by diet control and exercise. 2) Consult with a good gynaecologist and get your proper examination( pelvic and general examination) to be done. 3) Some suggested investigation in your case are ultrasound, blood profile, thyroid test and hormonal profile.(if already done do not worry). 4) Once the cause is determined it can be treated accordingly. 5) Please do not be worried about your confinement because you already had a baby. I think I have answered your query If you have further question I will be happy to help you. Good luck Regard Dr.Richa

Brief Answer: go for hormonal profile Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for writing. You are having bilateral PCOD(polycystic ovarian syndrome) as mentioned in your scan report. With this report we can say that your ovaries produce less ovule but exceptions are always be there. In this situation you should go for your hormonal profile(FSH,LH and FSH and LH ratio). You should consult a gynaecologist and take medical treatment for your problem. If you are satisfied with my answer, please close the query and rate the answer. If you have further questions, I will be happy to help you. Good luck. Regards Dr.Richa
