Question: My son has the following findings in Widal Test, Serum report
S.Typhi O Antigen - Positive (1:80) No Agglutination
S.Typhi H Antigen - Positive (1:160) No Agglutination
S.paratyphi A H antigen No Agglutination
S.paratyphi B H antigen No Agglutination

Hi welcome to Health care magic,
That means he is positive for Typhoid O and H.
No antibodies have formed, so there is no agglutination (sign of immunity)
He is negative for Paratyphi AH and BH.
Please take the antibiotic course prescribed.
Eat light since in the second week of infection, there can be loose motions.
Take a Probiotic capsule with the antibiotic and continue at least a week after completing antibiotic course to improve intestinal immunity.
Take care of personal hygiene to avoid infecting others.
Avoid eating raw or partially cooked food/juices outside to avoid re-infection.
Get yourself vaccinated.
