Brief Answer:
Treatment of prostate gland enlargement depends on symptoms.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX and welcome to HCM.

Having gone through all the reports, treatment for prostate enlargement depends on the symptoms of the patient.

There's a test for the symptomatic person called Uroflowmetry and PSA.
These need to be done, before treatment is advised.

If a TRUS scan is done,it would be best.

So mention all symptoms, that're bothering him, with regarding to passing urine.
Depending on that, treatment will be advised.

Wish him well.

Hi Dr XXXXXXX

Thanks for responding to my question.

He is not complaining or having any symptoms as such. This is just a finding in the routine general health checkup.

Should I go with another Ultrasound to confirm this again before going for the tests you suggested?

Thanks,
Subhash

Brief Answer:
Annual PSA in men after 50 years age,is recommended.

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

If he's having no symptoms, related to passing urine,no treatment is needed.

However,a PSA test is good to do,once a year,after 50 years age.
You can do it with his next check-up.
