Question: Hello, I was told that my uterus is prominent at 10.3 CM by 4.2 by 6.5. Endometrium is mildly thickened at 7MM. Urinary bladder is well distended without wall thickening identified. There is no fluid seen in the cul-de-sac region. The Rt ovary contains a CM cyst. Left ovarian vascularity appears to be intact. The uterus is heterogeneous without a distinct fibroids noted.
Impression was prominent uterus and endometrium and left ovarian cysts. WBC Count is at 12.9 (ranges 3.8-10.8 Thousand/uL) & Absolute Neutrophils is 9159 (normal ranges 1500-7800) these two number are slowly rising.

Brief Answer:
Ultrasound report is almost normal.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The ultrasound scan report that you have mentioned is almost normal and is not suggestive of any pathology. The mild rise in WBC and absolute neutrophils count is suggestive of a mild infection that can be a bacterial infection anywhere in the body. It can be associated with fever.
It is best to consult a general physician for proper investigations to find the cause of infection and prescription of proper antibiotics to control it.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.

So i should be too concerned that he will want to do a hysterectomy?
Im not too concerned with the 2 cm cyst. Just want to ensure its not cancerous.

Brief Answer:
Not cancerous.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
If the blood work is persistent with no other symptoms then there is no need to worry. Hysterectomy is not needed right now. It is not likely to be cancerous.
