What Do My Lab Test Reports Indicate?
Question: Hello Dr. XXXXXXX Koregol,
I had a discussion with you earlier also that i have polycystic ovary and i am 29yr old panning for pregnancy.
Last month i got few tests done.Please find the details below.
1) Mullerian Inhibiting Substance (AMH) serum: 2.8
2) Luteinising Hormone: 2.50 mIL/m
3) Dehydroepiandrone Sulphate (DHEAS) method serum: 448.8 ug/dl
4) Serum Prolactin: 10.85 ng/mL
5) Testostrone Total: 1.30 nmol/LI
6) ESTRADIOL (E2): 32.0 pg/mL
7) Follicle Stimulating Hormone: 3.21 mIU/mL
8) Thyroid Stimulating Hormone: 0.86
Please advice based on these above test. Weather everything is normal.
Doctor prescribed me following medicines:
Normoz - Daily Twice
Folinol plus: Once 8AM
Cap Susten - From 11th Day on wards for a week.
Glyophage - Daily twice

You doctor has given you right medicines and you can continue them.
Only extra thing you need is follicular growth scan. This follicular growth scan has ability to identify follicle growth and when it is going to rupture.
Hence please request follicular growth scan from your doctor.

Thanks, i will talk to my doctor regarding this. How many months or time it will take to conceive. Its been more than a month I am taking these medicines. Doctor told me that course will continue for three months.

Its very difficult to say when you will conceive. in each cycle chance of pregnancy is around 10 percent.
Your doctor is right. You can try for 3 months in this method. If you dont conceive, you need to go for IUI as next step.
