Brief Answer: Size disparity may be due to anatomical variation Detailed Answer: Hello XXXX Thanks for writing to XXXXXXX You need proper clinical examination by orthopedician. Pain may be due to bony spur which is spiky bony projection under the surface of heel bone. First you need X-ray of both feet in lateral view. If bony spur growth is confirmed then it can be managed accordingly. Mostly it is managed conservatively. You should use soft sleepers. You can also use hot and cold therapy to your feet alternatively.Analgesics can be taken on SOS basis. But this bony spur doesn't causes size variation. Disparity in feet size may be due to anatomical variation. You need X-ray of both feet in AP,Lateral and oblique view so that any pathological problem can be identified.Exact cause of size variation can only be told after X-rays and clinical examination. Get well soon. Hope i have answered your query. Further queries are most welcome. Take Care Dr.Indu XXXXXXX
