Brief Answer:
Nothing to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
On and off pain in the upper abdomen is due to gastric acidity which is very common in the first trimester of pregnancy due to the hormonal changes.
Nausea or vomiting usually subsides by the end of first trimester, usually by 11-12 weeks.
This is most likely the reason for you not feeling the vomiting sensation.
Aversion to food is a symptom which is not present in all the pregnant females.
Increase in apetite is a good sign for pregnancy.
The medications you are taking are appropriate.
In addition, you can take digene syrup to combat acidity.
There is nothing to worry.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Thank you for your answer doctor. Also I would like to know from what time I can start using Kesar milk and other dry fruits? After I complete 3 months what are the vegetables and fruits/dry fruits I can take which is good for baby. Is there a posture I should sleep which will not harm the baby? I am very much worried as I have pain in upper abdomen sometimes squeezing pain, and no symptoms as other women feel during first trimester. Looking for your guidance.

Thank you.

Brief Answer:
No restriction in diet

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
You can take kesar milk from now onwards.
There is no restrictions in diet, and every fruit, diet and cereals should be included in diet.
High protein diet should be taken including milk and milk products, pulses, sprouts, eggs and meat ( if non vegetarian).
It is bebetter to sleep in left lateral position in pregnancy.
However, any position do not harm the fetus.

Hello Doctor,

I am worried again as my NT scan and double marker tests are done and there seems to be high risk.

Because of my age and weight the risk is increased as doctor said.

Report says -

Free Beta HCG - 60.94, 2.72MoM
PAAP-A - 537.1, 0.45 MoM
NT - 1.2 mm (CRL 53 mm):0.85MoM

Down's Syndrome Risk : 1:272 calculated as Risk at delivery date. LOW Risk. The maternal age related risk for Down's Syndrome is 1:679

Edwards' and Patau's syndrome Risk; Less than 1:100000 calculated as Risk at delivery date. Low Risk.

Age Risk:1:679
T. 21 Risk - 1:272
T. 18-13 Risk - 1:100000

At the bottom it is written 1:250

And my Thyroid level (TSH) is 3.13 u IU/ml

Also doctor suggested to check for next scan and if still there is problem we may have to go for quadrupedal test and so on...like placenta sample test etc... I don't remember clearly.

How can it be avoided or is there is any medicine to increase PAAP-A level.

I am taking following medicines.

Endogest 1-0-1
Ecospirin 75 - 1-0-1
Vehycal - 0-1-0
Argiprime 6g - 0-0-1

Please help.

Brief Answer:
Risk not high

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have reviewed the reports.
The risk is not high, as the cut off for the Down syndrome in double marker is 1:250.
The cut off for the PAPP -A is 0.4 MoMs and value below it is abnormal.
There is no need to repeat the quadruple marker as it will not give any additional information.
You should get a detailed anomaly ultrasound at 18-20 weeks and further management should be done accordingly.
