Thanks for posting the query on HCM. After going through your query, I would like to comment the following:
1. You seem to have suffered from repeated episodes of acute
bronchitis. You are also currently a diagnosed case of GERD (
Acid reflux).
2. Cause of repeated episodes of acute bronchitis could be:
a. Upper airway cough syndrome (UACS) if you have associated symptoms of cold / nasal blockage during these episodes.
b. Obstructive
airway disease like asthma.
c. Hyperresponsive airways.
d. GERD induced cough.
e. Post infective cough.
f.
Allergic cough.
3. You need a detailed clinical evaluation with a Pulmonologist.
4. Investigations required are chest Xray, Sputum examination, Serum IgE levels, Peripheral smear, CBC and Pulmonary function test. Management will be as per reports.
5. Also yearly flu
vaccination will help prevent recurrent infections.
