Brief Answer:
findings post viral infection

Detailed Answer:
Hi! The red vessels at the back of the throat, as you mentioned is a sign called hyperemia and is a sequelae of that viral infection of upper respiratory tract. Once the infection with subside completly it will gradually come back to normal. Meanwhile you should complete the antibiotic course as been prescribed by your ENT doctor. Using anti histamines like cetrizine alongwith anti inflammatory drugs like acetaminophen may help with symptoms of pain or itching.

The white lesions you talked about, on tongue can be fungal infections which are common after antibiotic use, and for them you can use oral glycerine with nystatin oral drops for 5 days. Meanwhile avoid very hot or cold beverages or sour or corrosive foods. Saline gargles will help with both throat and tongue.

Brief Answer:
post viral infection menifestations

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Yes it can be sequelae of that viral infection or may be of antibiotic use and will improve gradually. Using nystatin oral drops in case of persistent white rash would be recommended as it is painful too so raises possibilitu of infective origin. Also adopting the other supportive measures like we discussed earlier wil help with the symptoms. Regards.
