Question: For the past week or so, I have been having LUQ pain (to be honest its been of and on for a year or more) Also RUQ where My Gallbladder is. Have had ultrasounds, negative for stones, function tests seem to be negative. Lately been getting the cold sweats with minimal exertion, and the pain stretches from RUG to LUQ. Bowels have been slow, Bloodsugar has been high (240 2 hours Post meal) this is new as I was always pre-diabetic but not DX.Also, some mild shortness of breath and fatigue.

Brief Answer:
Further investigations and clinical evaluation

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted your history well.
The passage of pain from the RUQ to the LUQ, slow bowels, high blood sugar all indicate towards colitis particularly of the transverse colon as is also normal ultrasound and function test.
The mild shortness of breath, cold seats and fatigue can be secondary to this or may have a reason in the respiratory system which needs further evaluation.

I would advise in such a situation as from the history provided by you the following:
Tests of stool on three consecutive days.
Colonoscopy and
CT scan of the abdomen.
Clinical evaluation by your Doctor and further tests as may be advised by him on clinical examination like X-ray Chest, EKG and so on.

This systematic approach will help you to get an early and proper diagnosis and treatment.

I hope this answer helps you for the same, please feel free to ask for further relevant queries if you need to or if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
You may provide any additional information.

I was DX possible Celiac (no biopsy) and likely Gluten INtolerant. Can these symptoms possibly be related to being exposed to gluten?

Brief Answer:
Get the tests done, get the proper diagnosis

Detailed Answer:
Just from the available history it is difficult to say whether there is celiac or gluten intolerance.
If you were on 100% gluten free diet and then started gluten by any chance, there is a possibility of gluten intolerance. Another way is ask for IgA anti-gliadin antibodies (these are found in about 80% of people with Celiac disease also).
Get investigated properly as we discussed above to get the perfect diagnosis as the medical field is dependent upon the facts.
