Brief Answer:
Evaluation for urinary obstruction needed.

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX and welcome to HCM.
Your concern is understandable. As an Urologist, I must say, you're having some urinary outlet obstruction which needs a thorough evaluation. I am not pleased with just catheterization as the treatment. You must get an urine routine and culture test, with blood urea, creatinine, and sugar
done. Also get a fasting blood thyroid profile test. Finally, you also might need an urine flow rate test and an ultrasound scan of abdomen done.

Please visit an urologist who will know about these tests. He/she will be able to plan proper treatment based on the results of these tests. Until then maintain drinking 8-10 glasses of liquids daily ( including water).

Feel free to contact me anytime.

Wish you good health
