Question: I have pressure at the vaginal opening, discharge and cloudy urine. I don't have itching. Do you think it's a yeast infection?

Brief Answer: more likely to be urinary tract infection. Detailed Answer: Dear member, Thanks for writing to healthcare magic. The symptoms are more likely to be of urine infection. As you mentioned you are perimenopausal there is more chance of urine infection due to lack of hormonal support in the vagina and urethral area. This also causes the symptoms of pressure and pelvic heaviness. The cloudy urine is also more likely to be urinary infection than vaginal yeast infection as there is no itching or curdy white discharge. Diagnosis is done by a urine examination. If pus cells are seen then you will need antibiotics for treatment of the same. Please take plenty of oral liquids. This will help to reduce the cloudy urine. Please write back with any queries.
