Question: I am experiencing pain on the bottom heel of my right foot. I feel it mostly when I stand or walk on the foot, mostly while there is applied pressure. However, even when not applying pressure, I can feel something is not right.

Brief Answer
you may be having a mild issue which can be easily sorted out

Detailed Answer:
Hi Miss XXXXXXX

This pain in your heel which is worse upon applying pressure is quite a common problem so be rest assured. Most probably you are suffering from a problem called calcaneal spur which means there is or rather there could be a small spike of bone attached with your heel bone. Reason why it happens are plenty.

Please get an X-ray of your foot done for a calcaneal spur will be confirmed. Treatment is quite simple change your footwear please wear shoes with soft soles or get your sandals or shoes padded with soft soles. This will definitely alleviate your pain .

Do let me know in case of any further queries.

Best wishes
