Can Gupisone Cause Fatigue?
I have been prescribed gupisone 2+2+3 0.5x7=35 mg per day for ankle pain and calcaneal spur. Since then I have too much tiredness and feel exhausted completely.Even the pain did not subside. I feel as if no syrength in me.I am a lady aged 45 years. Please advise. Is it because of Gupisone. Regds, sumana

Gupisone contains prednisolone is a corticosteroid which is used to relieve swelling in various conditions like arthritis and allergic disorders. Patients with diabetes and other kidney diseases must use with caution. Don't stop the use of this medication suddenly since this may cause severe side effects like confusion, headache etc. Side effects of Gupisone are agression, dizziness, headache, increased appetite, weight gain, decreased urine output, fast heartbeat, extreme tiredness, fatigue, weakness, abdominal pain, diarrhea, sweating, allergic reactions etc. If these side effects persist for long or bother you, then consult your doctor immediately.
