Brief Answer:
I suggest symptomatic treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I am dr.kakkar (dermatologist and venereologist). I have gone through your query and I have noted your concern.

I don't think that your symptoms are related to this particular sexual encounter. These are non-specific symptoms and are not suggestive of any STI.

I suggest you to talk to your general practitioner and take symptomatic treatment for these symptoms.

I would like to know if the sexual encouner was condom protected or was it unprotected?

Regards

Brief Answer:
STD screening

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

Protected sex is safe as far as risk of HIV, Chlamydia and Gonorrhea is concerned. However, Genital herpes and HPV can still be transmitted despite protected sex.
Therefore I suggest you to screen for Genital herpes at 4 weeks and repeat at 12-16 weeks even though your present symptoms are not suggestive of any STD.

STDs usually present with either genital sores, urethral discharge/ burning micturation or genital warts/ growths rather than with systemic symptoms like diarrhea or nausea.

Brief Answer:
STD screening

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

In general Oral sex carries a lower risk of transmission of STI's as compared to unprotected vaginal or anal sex.
Oro-labial herpes can be transmitted from cunnilingus, which may manifest as cold sores on lip and area around the lip therefore you should screen for HSV (type 1 and 2) as I had already suggested.
However HIV has a negligible risk of trandmission from oral sex but still testing for HIV would give you peace of mind.
