What Causes Menstrual Bleeding Twice In A Month?
Question: I am age 44 female- i think i maybe having my period 2 times this month- it has happened in the past but 6months ago was last time- i am peri menopusal -stress
Yes this could be due to age and this may going to stop now if this is because of menopause,

As such, it is normal as you are in the peri menopausal age group.
Plus, conditions such as stress, anxiety, weight changes, unaccustomed exercise, change in diet or sleep habits, travelling - all can cause this to happen.
You should however have an evaluation from a Gynecologist if you have not had one in the past 6 months.
This should include a pelvic ultrasound scan to know the status of the uterus / ovaries , a Pap smear and internal exam.
Also, hormonal levels - FSH, LH, Serum estradiol will check how close you are to actual menopause.
Thyroid levels should be checked too.
You should not worry, but have a checkup to confirm what is going on.
