Hi,

Adco-Sporozole contains the active ingredient itraconazole, which is an antifungal medication used to treat certain types of fungal infections, including yeast infections. The usual dosage of Adco-Sporozole for the treatment of a yeast infection is 200mg (two capsules) twice daily for three days. Therefore, you should take two capsules in the morning and two capsules in the evening for three consecutive days.

You can take the first dose now if it's still within the same day as your doctor's appointment. If it's already late, you can take the first dose the next day. Just make sure to take the medication at the same time every day and complete the full course of treatment, even if your symptoms improve before finishing the medication.

It is important to follow your doctor's instructions carefully and not exceed the recommended dosage or duration of the treatment without consulting your doctor. If you experience any adverse effects while taking Adco-Sporozole, you should stop taking it immediately and seek medical attention.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
