What Causes Lower Abdominal Pain When Suffering From Enlarged Prostate?

Question: I have an enlarged prostate, my PSA is 3.4. I wake up and go the bath room 5-6 time per night. I have a pain in lower abdomen at nights but no problem in the day. Could this all be related?

Hi,

Yes, definitely it can be related and probably is these are all symptoms of prostate enlargement and this is first thing to think of. Considering all this, surgical management should be considered so consult your urologist about it. Till that try to limit coffee and alcohol, try not to drink lot of fluids before sleep,find some herbal products that may help. If fever or burning pain during urination occur, you should do urine analysis to rule out infection.
