Brief Answer:
Pain can be due to an intestinal colic.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The pain in the lower abdomen that she has is not likely to be due to I-pill. This can be due to a an intestinal colic or urinary pain. There can be a mild irregular bleeding due to I-pill and her next periods may be delayed by a few days due to the effect of the I-pill.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.

Brief Answer:
Pregnancy unlikely.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
I-pill taken 24 hours after unprotected sex gives 95 % protection against pregnancy.
Right now for the pain she can take an over the counter anti spasmodic like Drotaverine ( Drotakind M) and consult a gynecologist for examination in case the pain is persistent.
Hope my answer is helpful.

Brief Answer:
Periods can be delayed due to I-pill.

Detailed Answer:
The periods can be delayed by a week due to the effect of the I-pill. It is best to wait for a week more and if the periods do not start then do a pregnancy test to find out.
