What Causes Large Painful Bump On Side Of Penis?
Question: I have a large painful bump on the side of my penis towards my glans. I'm not sure if it is a vein, blood clot, or lympho cele. The pain is now constant and it is constantly irritating when wearing clothes and attempting to go through daily tasks.

This started about a week ago. I had masturbated vigorously. I thought i had just chafed. The pain was presented as such. Over the week the bump developed until now when it is present with and without erection and is constantly sore and throbbing. I am trying to avoid a dr or clinic visit as i do not have the financial resources necessary. Thank you

Read and Reviewed facts ofyour query in context to health concerns regarding painful penile lump.
Based on the facts of your query and pictures updated,In My opinion you seem to have this penile lump from sever bout of masturbation lately in last week.The trauma during the last act was so severe that it caused tissue oedema on dorsum of right side of penile shaft just near the glans.
In My opinion-
You seem to suffer from Severe Penile bruise with microhematoma and tissue edema of coronal sulcus.There is no fracture of penile shaft.So Don't worry at all.
Tissue seems to have been stretched a lot with microhematoma and is now painful still, causing discomfort during the daily routine taks even.
Don't Worry, its just hyper stretching of the penile dorsal skin and not a serious condition.
Remedy-
I would recommend you to Consult Surgeon to assess the extent of penile injury,as to whether limited to penile dorsal foreskin or deep down to carpora cavernosa beneath it and near the Coronal Sulcus of the glans.
Besides whatever has been suggested on care and medicines in My last reply,
Add Tab Chymoral Forte 2 per day x 5 days time
And Oint Thrombophobe - locally to resolve the penile tissue bump.
Tab Zicovit 1 per day x 10 days to recoup fast.
