What Causes Irregular Menstruation After Removing Cyst Through Laparoscopy?
Question: Hai. Myself married for 5years is in ttc for past 4 years. I am having pcod. Last March I had a laparoscopy to remove cyst. Still my periods is not regular. Clomid was suggested by my doc which didn't give anything positive, instead menstruation with heavy bleeding. Last 3-4months I was not taking any medication, so no periods. Doc gave me registrone tablet, I got menses on 11 dec and from 3rd day I started taking adova for 5days along with metformin tab. Now it's 36th day and no sign of mensus. Why is it so? No symptom of pregnancy. I took home pregnancy test today, and it's negative. Will I get mensus this month if I am not pregnant. Till when I have to wait

Can you tell me a few things ?
What is your age ?
WHat is your height and weight ?
Do you always have to take progesterone for withdrawal bleeding or do you bleed on your own , even if late ?
What blood tests have been done so far, and can you upload them ?
Can you upload the findings of the laparoscopy report also ?
For how many months did you take Clomid ?
What do you mean by no positive result - was follicular monitoring done after taking Clomid , and was ovulation observed ?

I am 25years old. 5. 4feet with 57kg.
I took Clomid around 6+6 months making a 4 month gap in between before getting cyst. And I always get periods in all those months with a heavy bleeding,when I take Clomid, which I think is annovulation. i had taken tablet trenaza to control bleeding in last 2-3 months before laproscopy to remove cyst. I did follicular study once during this period. And my follicle didn't rupture even after trigger shot.
And then laparoscopy to remove cyst. And the procedure done is laparoscopic ovarian cystescomy. Left ovary enlarged 7cm with in walled cepl. Sisterly done. Right ovarian polycystic -puncture done chromolubation done frispill on both side.
After this 3months I didn take any medication. Thus no periods. Then again restart registrone. got periods. Then again clomid. Did follicular study, no ovulation. Got heavy bleeding again, did scanning. found It is because of thickened endometrium. Stopped Clomid with 2rounds. And after July, I didn get periods. In December I took registrone, got periods on 11dec, had adova 1mg from 3rd day, metformin 500 twice daily for whole 1month. Today 36th day, no mensus, negative pregnancy result. Will I get mensus this month if I am not pregnant. When I take Clomid, I get periods in 29-34 days.
I did blood test when I was analysed with pcod. That time everything was normal except prolactin which was corrected

IF you are not pregnant, you will definitely get your period, it might be delayed.
IF it is delayed beyond 2 weeks, you need to see your doctor to get assessment of the lining of the uterus and take progesterone tablets for the same.
If you wish further advice for conception, I think that you need to go for IUI ( Intra uterine insemination) now.
Is your husband's semen analysis normal ?
Instead of typing the laparoscopy report, can you upload it please , there are a lot of mistakes in the typing that is done by hand.
Again, the blood tests need to be uploaded.
You need to take clomid and if required FSH injections to achieve ovulation, in combination with intra uterine insemination.
