Brief Answer:
many causes, common are stress and hormones

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

It seems that you are having bleeding now 2 days after your period was over.

Please do not worry. The commonest reason for this are stress or minor hormonal imbalances that generally correct spontaneously with exercise and a healthy diet and lifestyle.

Other reasons are cervical erosions or polyps, endometrial polyps, ovarian cysts, fibroids and trauma to genital tract. Hormones like thyroid, prolactin and also the female reproductive hormones like FSH, LH, estrogen and progesterone may get imbalanced and lead to such bleed. I am not sure if you are using contraceptives as some like depo shots, emergency pill or implants also cause irregular bleed. So kindly check if you are on any of these drugs.

As of now, if the bleeding was transient and has stopped, there is no need to worry. Just eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables and exercise for 20 minutes daily.

If it recurs then you will need a gynec examination and an ultrasound to look for any possible cause. If examination and ultrasound are negative then a hormone testing will help determine the cause and get treated accordingly.

Hope this satisfies your query.
