What Causes Freckles Inside Of Vagina?
Question: I have recwntly found what i assume to be new freckles on the inside of my vagina. No raised areas. What is this?

I have seen the attached picture. I need to know if there is any history of insertion of a ring or pessary or tampon in the vagina prior to this finding and also the duration of this finding and if it is associated with any other symptom.
If there is history of chronic trauma, this is likely to be due to scarring; else, a proper evaluation would be needed to clarify the issue.
Please see a specialist for a proper examination, a smear and a biopsy of the lesion if needed. General examination also should be done to look for other significant findings.

Hi. I have no trauma history. In the past i have used tampons and the ring. I have no idea how long it has been there. I had an oopherectomy last november and am in menopause. I had breast cancer and did the ovary removal as a preventative measure.
Inalso have diabetes and have frequent yeast infections. It is slightly itchy. I have obly had sex with one partner for the past ten years.
Could this be cancerous?

I do not think this should be cancerous. Since you are a diabetic and also in menopause, it seems more likely that there is an altered pigmentation of the area, more so, due to repeated vaginal infections.
Prolonged use of tampons and the ring also can be put to blame for this pigmentation. Please go ahead with a specialist check up for further management. It is more likely to be an infection.
