Detailed Answer:
I read your question carefully and I understand your concern.

I have to say that I agree with your neurologists. I too believe it to be simply a remnant of the old Bell palsy. As the nerve fibers regenerate they do not always form the correct connections and this errant wiring may lead to tightness or even facial muscle spasms at times.

Even if there was some doubt about that being the cause the normal MRI has excluded other possibilities. So I too wouldn't be too concerned at least not regarding it being something threatening bothering as it may be.

I remain at your disposal for other questions.

Could it cause the feeling of being a little off balance when moving my eyes? Not really dizzy

Detailed Answer:
No that should not related to the past Bell's palsy. But with a normal MRI it is not due to any brain related cause either, not really concerning.
Might be due to inner ear issues which is another important organ in maintaining balance. At times medication like meclizine may be used for that purpose, but I wouldn't say it to be necessary if the symptoms are limited at what you describe really.

Let me know if I can further assist you.
