Brief Answer:
Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.

I have read your question and understand your concerns.

Most probable cause of your wife's concerns, since dizziness and spinning sensation are related to certain head positions, is benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, a condition related to inner ear dysfunction.

Since there is stress too, blood pressure changes should be considered also.

There is need for your wife to consult an ENT Doctor and discus about her concerns and possible treatment ways.

Canalith re positioning is a procedure that results in most cases successful in improving this condition.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Greetings.
