Brief Answer:
nothing to worry

Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, good to talk to you again.
This is very common in pregnancy specially after 12 weeks of pregnancy and is not due to the candies you had.
It is related to mild XXXXXXX XXXXXXX contractions which start coming after 12 weeks and due to that the blood in uterus is suddenly pumped into circulation causing pounding sensation.
You will get habituated eventually and your body will react better later on.
Still to be on safer side gat your thyroid hormone levels and hemoglobin checked.
Take care.
