Also i want to add here that on first week of september she had some bleeding i.e not actually in flow but small spots which last for 3-4 days (i was taken that as a sign of pregnancy)

Is missing period could be related to sex we had to conceive a child ?
Is it possible that she is pregnant but urine test indicates negative

She has regular periods and first time that she noticed that periods are missing.

Please let me know if require any more details

Brief Answer:
Negative pregnancy test rules out pregnancy

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thanks for the information.I understand your concern.
It is good to know that the cycles are regular and height and weight are appropriate.
In my opinion usually the urine pregnancy test gives accurate results a week after missed period. But as the test was negative even after 10 days of missed period there is no chance of pregnancy.
But as the test is negative the spotting which occurred in first week of September might be considered as the period but it is lighter than usual.
This first time lighter period might be due to hormonal imbalance to stress or anxiety related to pregnancy.
There is no chance of pregnancy with negative urine pregnancy test.
The causes of delayed period with negative urine pregnancy test are PCOD,thyroid abnormalities etc.So they need to be evaluated if the irregular cycles continue.
They present with irregular periods, any weight changes etc.
Practice regular intercourse to increase the chances of conception.
Avoid stress if any.Nothing to worry.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Feel free to discuss furthur.

Hello dear,I got your query.I understand your concern.
In my opinion you can wait till 1 st week of October ie., for next period as the spotting in September is considered as the period.
But if any intermittent spotting or bleeding occurs in between you need to consult doctor.
I suggest you Dr XXXXXXX XXXXXXX varalakshmi hospital, around 1.5 km from forum mall,7 th block ,koramanagal.

Thanks for the answer.
Also if in case period occurs in first week of October then also i need to consult doctor or not ?

Is it coincidence that my wife missed the period at the same time we had inter coursed to get a child.(As in her entire life she never missed period for so long) ?
Are these two are related anyway ?

Thanks !

Brief Answer:
Avoid stress

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,I got your query.I understand your concern.
In my opinion if the next period is normal then you need not consult the doctor.
You need to consult if one of the following occurs:-
1)If the next period is missed.
2)If the next period also shows just spotting.
3)If any irregular bleeding or spotting occurs in between.
Anxiety regarding conception might also lead to missed period with negative pregnancy test.
So the abnormal period might be due to anxiety or stress induced hormonal imbalance.
It can be a coincidence too.
So relax.Avoid anxiety and stress.Practice regular intercourse to increase the pregnancy chances.
Hope this satisfies your query.
Feel free to discuss furthur.

This information is very useful.
Further if this time on schedule date, period occurs properly, in that case also is there any need to consult doctor and get some test done to know which hormones were disturbed and thereafter start the treatment.

Briefly : Is treatment requires, if periods occurs properly this time.

Brief Answer:
If irregularity continues then it is to be treated

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,I got your query.I understand your concern.
In my opinion yes if the next period comes normally then there is no need of treatment.
If irregularity repeats then it needs to be investigated.
Because this type of scenarios are quite common initially while planning for pregnancy due to anxiety and expectations.
