Brief Answer:
Developmental milestone is normal for this age

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for asking on this platform

I have gone through the details and do understand your concern.
At one year of age baby starts standing without support and may take few steps.I wont get overly worried as your baby has achieved this milestone.
Similarly as per definition, teething is called delayed when eruption has not started till 18 months of life.
So this is also normal for this age.
Weight gets three times of birth weight at one year of age.Weight of 8 kg at 1 year whose birth weight was 3 kg is not very low if we plot it on growth chart.
Still I would suggest you to get serum vitamin D level and thyroid profile done,if not done previously.
These two are most common causes of delayed milestone and child may even remain asymptomatic.
So I would suggest you to get these investigation done(even if developmental milestone is normal) and observe for achievement of other milestones.

Give frequent feeds with high caloric value for proper weight gain. Also let me know the diet and height of baby(height should be around 75 cm at this age) so that I better able to help you out.

I hope this helps.
Please let me know if you have any queries.
Regards

Brief Answer:
Vitamin D deficiency can delay the teething

Detailed Answer:
Sorry for delayed reply
Weight of 8.6 at one year is normal according to the XXXXXXX growth chart standards.
The diet you have mentioned is appropriate and balanced also(contains all major nutrients like carbohydrates, fat and proteins).
Milk and milk products are rich sources of vitamin D.You may also add cheese, curd, yogurt to make it more enriched with vitamin D.
As your baby has completed his 12 months you may also add egg to the diet.
Give breast milk mainly during night.During day time give 3 major meals(One small bowl) made of cereals, dal with green vegetables and two to three snacks made of fruits, milk etc.

Calcimax contains vitamin D and calcium. As per recommendation it needs to be supplemented till one year of age.As you are supplementing chance of vitamin D deficiency is less. You can stop giving calcimax(if giving from last 3 months) and supllement the diet rich in vitamin D.
Consult your pediatrician and monitor the growth by plotting his weight on growth chart.
You may weight for the eruption of teeth at least till 15 months of age.

Thanks and regards

Brief Answer:
You can cheese in small pieces or by melting it

Detailed Answer:
Hello

You may give cheese to the baby in very small pieces.Babies usually love to have cheese.aYou can also add melted cheese to the baby's diet.
I have gone through the detail and it is quite normal if the mother is working.I dont find any obvious abnormality as he spends time with you in home.He will grow out of it with time.

Thanks and regards

Thanks doctor can we give store bought cheese or only home made. Can we give pedia sure to him .can i add little chilli powder to his diet
doctor
Answered by Dr. Pradeep Kumar Jain (8 hours later)
Brief Answer:
You may give any kind of cheese

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for follow up

You may give any of these.Just be sure that the bought cheese must be hygienic.
You may also add pediasure to the milk for nutritional supplementation.
I wont recommend you to give chilli powder intentionally at this age.Aromatic spices can be given but not hot spices like chilli as this may cause aversion to the food.

Thanks and regards
