Posted on Wed, 18 Nov 2015
Question: Hi, i had met with small accident in 2003 and had lost upper right lateral, and have consulted doctor in 2009 and they have suggested cantilever bridge treatment so used cuspid teeth for support. In between this 2003 to 2009 there was a gap in the place of upper right lateral so teethes have little tilted to upper right lateral teeth place. so now i wanted to get treated and make the teethes like before. (bridge teeth also small in size compare to other side and there are few gaps in between molar teethes)

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX ,

Thanks for consulting Healthcare magic .
This is Dr. Priyanka tiwari answering your query .

I have read your query and understand your concern . As far as mesial shifting of adjacent teeth and missing upper right lateral teeth is concerned there is nothing to be worried treatment option in this is you can go for conventional fixed partial denture (bridge ) for missing teeth or implant surgery for missing teeth . See XXXXXXX what happened is for conventional Bridge slight tooth reduction of either side of adjacent teeth is done and in this procedure gap is created for replacement of missing teeth . In implant incision is given and implant (titanium or chromium rod ) is placed in place of missing tooth and then crown is placed . So for replacement of missing tooth I will suggest you to consult Prosthodontist and go for treatment .
If possible can you upload the image of adjacent tooth and image of gap in between the tooth that will be more helpful for me to arrive at conclusion and give you proper suggestion .

Awating for pictures to comment further .

Hope this will help you .

Brief Answer:
Go for Implant for missing tooth .

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX ,

Welcome again .

I have gone through the image you have uploaded . As far as I have observed there is sufficient gap for replacement of missing tooth . As you have taken bridge treatment and you are not satisfied with your treatment then next treatment option left for you is go for Implant done for your lateral incisior . In Implant surgery single tooth replacement is done and in your case crown is placed on canine tooth as reduction of canine is done in bridge treatment you have taken . I recommend you to consult Prosthodontist and go for treatment .

Hope I have answered your query .
If you have further query I will be happy to help .
