Question: I had a question: I happen to see a lot of visions and hear voices almost all the time, I've been going through this since I was 8. I was wondering if I may or may not have a form of some mental disability.

Brief Answer:
Consultation

Detailed Answer:
Hello, and thanks for your question.

You may have schizophrenia, a chronic psychotic condition. However, there are other explanations, including seizures or other brain disorders. You need a full in-person physical exam, basic bloodwork, and an MRI of the brain. If these are negative, I would visit a psychiatrist to consider antipsychotic medications to help you.
