Question: Hi I have a lot of stress and anxiety at work and it does not seem to go away. I work at a prison. Any help?

I think, you need antidepressants like sertraline or venlafaxine with low dose benzodiazepine. Though you are taking divalproex, but dose is less. If you have only stress related anxiety, then there is no need to take divalproex. You can also try some relaxation exercise like JPMR (Jacobson's Progressive Muscle Relaxation). That would help you to control underline anxiety. Better to consult a psychiatrist or psychologist. In case, you need further help, you can ask.
