Suggest Treatment For Severe Pain Radiating From Left Lower Pelvis To Leg

default
Posted on Thu, 2 Jul 2015
Question: I have a bad history of endometriosis and have had three surgeries over a period of 20 yrs, to remove scar tissue. I have had my right ovary and f-tube removed and half of my left ovary removed, due to endometriosis. 8 mts ago, I had a large polyp removed from my uterus. I am having bad pain in my left lower pelvic area, that radiates to my back, mid abdomen and down my left leg. I feel like I have something heavy in there and that there is a lot of inflammation. I currently feel bad all over, with general malaise. When it first started approx. 2 mts ago, it felt like an ovarian cyst but is getting much worse every day. I am not running a fever that I know of but I sweat like a pig most of the time, which is not uncommon for me.

Brief Answer:
Try with painkillers

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear and thanks for trusting to us.

I understand your issue and I will try to help you.

In fact in this scenario you need to do a transvaginal scan to exclude any area of endometriosis because as you may know it is very recurrent.
Pain is continuing or during your periodic vaginal bleeding?
But Left abdominal pain may be and from adherence while you have many abdominal surgery.

Use painkillers like ibuprofen 400 mg every 6 to 8 hours for 5 to 7 days.
Take and serropeptidase tablet for adherence.
Add much more fluids especially water and fibers rich foods in your diet.
Have regular exercises for about 30 minutes per day.
Try to follow up these tips and hope to be good.

All the best and fast recovery

I have not had a period in over 10 years, due to previous surgery to remove my right ovary and f-tube. it thru me into menopause in 2004. I have been on 600mg of IB T.I.B. for 2 mths now. Are you able to prescribe Tramadol for pain? It does help!!!!

At this point, while I am waiting for our "speedy" community health dept, I am willing to take whatever I can get for pain. They can only write for non-narcotic pain meds, which I am taking currently. I totally understand if you cannot write something really strong but this IB pro, is not effective anymore. Please help if possible!!
