Question: I've been treated for scabies 4 or 5 times but still have bumps on my skin and find worm larvae in my mouth and all around the house. The larve seem to appear as a white substance, or a shell like thing in the carpet or v shaped like a chigger. Also see tiny black flies, and my eyebrows and mustache have this black sticky substance that nothing will remove. Please help me these bugs are eating me from inside out.

Brief Answer:
Resistant scabies

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

In severe resistant forms of scabies, that doesn't respond to repeated topical scabicidal like permethrin and oral ivermectin, Benzyl Benzoate is an option which is neurotoxic to the mites though its not FDA approved but is available in Europe and in use.

For severe pruritus a short course of oral corticosteroids may also be necessary if topical steroids and oral antihistamines don't work.

Hope I have answered your query. Wishing you the best of health.

Thanks.
