Brief Answer:
Needs detailed neurological evaluation

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to health care magic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible.

First of all, it is sad to know what you had been experiencing lately. Based on the history you have shared, it needs to be evaluated in detailed by a complete sensory neurological examination by your GP and if needed by a neurologist to look for the areas and the nerves involved and any signs of concordance with a single source or pathology, and to rule out early signs of sensory neurpathies which can be due to variety of causes. Also look for any signs of diseases which cause nerve sheath problems. Also reflexes and movements should be assessed to look for any signs of subacute combined degeneration of cord which may present like sensory neuropathy at first.

Some basic blood workup like B12, D3 and folic acid levels as well as biochemical analysis with blood sugar random and electrolytes needs to be done alongwith thyroid function tests.

Meanwhile using duloxetine or gabapentine may help with the symptoms. If symptoms are still not responding then carbamezapine can also be started after discussing with your primary doctor. Taking supplements for B12, D3 and folic acid can be started before levels arrive and can be continued if defficiencies are noted.

Wishing you a speedy recovery. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Regards.

Brief Answer:
Kindly get fresh thyroid functions done

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Thanks for the feedback. You need to get fresh levels of thyroid hormones done and also get the levels done every 3 months. Over or under treatment are related to such complications too so these need to be reviewed regularly. Other causes and workup should also be done as was discussed earlier. Regards.
