Brief Answer:
Get vitamin D levels checked.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Back pain is common in pregnancy.
This is because of hormonal effects and due to the pressure effects of the pregnant uterus.
She is already taking Calcium supplements ( ossopan ).
Please get her vitamin D levels tested.
This kind of pain mostly occurs due to deficiency of vitamin D.
Then let me know the reports please, so I can advice supplements of vitamin D for her.
Regarding the itching, she should wear cotton garments and underpants.
This is hot weather, so use a good talc.
If itching is generalized all over the body, a liver function test should be done.
She can apply coconut oil or a good moisturizer over the area.
Lacto calamine when applied locally will ease the itching.
Make sure she does not stand for prolonged periods or bend or lift heavy weights , as it can aggravate the back pain.
She should sleep with pillows propped up underneath the head and arms, that helps.
A good quality pregnancy pillow ( mothercare sells one ) is a good idea to invest for pregnancy and breastfeeding.
It is costly but worth the money.
Is the itching okay over the area where she was having injections ?
Take care.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
