Brief Answer:
Need certain details

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

Thanks for consulting HCM.

I understand your problem.

Plantar fascitis is a self limiting condition, normally pain will subside within 4 to 5 months time.
In Ayurveda we generally treat the cause. We need to rule out which factor influences or trigger your heel pain. why because sometimes plantar fascitis will mimic like calcaneal spur or any injury to that local area will have same type of symptoms.

To differentiate that kindly let me know some details.
How long have you been suffering from this pain?
Did you get any X-ray done?
What kind of job you are doing?
Whether any special type of foot wear your are using?
Pain is in both or single sole?
When does the pain aggravates? (like while walking/during night/ prolonged standing)?

Kindly get back to me with details for proper medical advise.

Thank you

Brief Answer:
Calcaneal spur or localised inflammation

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your reply.

As from your response it seems to acute phase of heel pain. Possibly it may be calcaneal spur or localised inflammation of muscle and ligament. Because unilateral pain (that is pain in single sole.)
That should be ruled out with the evidence of x ray. X- ray only can rule out plantar fascitis from above mentioned condition.

However,
Follow the below advise for another 15 days and get me a feedback.

Ice application is appreciated.
you can dip your heel into the hot water mixed with salt for 10 minutes.
Follow the same for another 15 days.

No need of any pain killer.

Ayurvedic medication and treatment advise follows:

Dhanvantara XXXXXXX - 2 tab twice a day.

kayathirumeni tailam + pinda tailam- mix both oil and heat it. Apply it on your sole daily.
with the help of cotton cloth dip into the warm oil and give fomentation.

This will give you relief from pain.

Thank you
Kindly get back to me if there is any clarification.
