Brief Answer:
Typhoid Carrier Stage with Ayurveda Management

Detailed Answer:
Dear

Thanks for contacting Ayurveda with your health concern and following points are worth mentioning prior to Ayurveda Management & Research.

1. people may continue to carry the bacteria in their bloodstream and body organs [gall bladder] for months or years, called as chronic carriers and continue to shed the bacteria in their feces and urine. '
PS. Cause of relapse in your case might be due to the fact, since it is present in your body, thus at any point when there is contamination of milk, food or water and is ingested by you, the problem of recurrence arises, drug resistance can also be one factor.

2. Two important complications of typhoid are: carrier state and chronic cholecystitis and since you are suffering in intervals thus do check with some life threatening complications associated with enteric fever like:
. Intestinal Hemorhage
. Acute Peripheral Circulatory failure
. Myocarditis.
. Septicemia/Pyaemia.
. Meningitis

PS. Kindly consult your attending Physician [for exhaustive list] and be under his/her regular supervision.

3. do let me know about your personal hygiene and Surrounding environment?
4. Were you Immunized against typhoid fever [ received Vaccine for the same] and/or failed to observe other preventive measures?
5.
Take: old brown rice, rice gruel,porridge,moong/masoor dal, potato, bitter gourd, guduchi, black grapes, pomegranate, light diet, rest, buttermilk, raisins, goats milk/ghee XXXXXXX warm water, soft rice with milk/ghee/plain dal, boiled vegetables, little lime pickle or papad for taste but no chilies, plenty of fluids and water every 2-3 hours, plain-lime-coconut-electral water, bread butter, toast jam, cornflakes, apple, banana, pear, citrus fruits, dry fruits, biscuits.

Avoid: sesame seeds [til], fast/junk food,heavy/constipating/distending food, contaminated food/water,excess physical exertion, day time sleeping, bathing [sponging is good],alkalies, green leafy vegetables [salad],curd, sprouted cereals.

6. In Ayurveda we generally adopt 'Sannipata Jwar Chikitsa' for the management of typhoid fever.
Since treatment also depends upon stage of enteric fever [I-II-III-IV week] thus kindly consult with local Ayurveda Doctor near you, here treatment will be furnished as a whole i.e. prescription which is followed in carrier cases:

1. Mrityunjaya Ras: 2 tablet, twice daily with ginger juice and XXXXXXX
2. Swarna XXXXXXX XXXXXXX ras: 1 tablet twice daily [if immunity is low]
3. Shadangya paneeya: 30ml twice daily: for thirst
4. saubhagya vati: 250mg
XXXXXXX bhairav Ras: 125 mg
XXXXXXX XXXXXXX bhasm 125mg.. with honey twice daily
5. You may go for Immunisation against Typhoid either Orally [in form of capsules][ or Parenteral [in form of injection]

Please revert back with your concern.
