Whose the best doctor to deal with Tb in subcutaneous.already took treatment for 1 year of akt 4 but Tb resurfaced ..pls guide the best doctor to deal with problem is it dermatologist fat surgeon or an infectious disease specialist ??any exeperienced doc to deal with my problem indelhi

I had devloped a sinus track in anterior abdominal wall post cesarean in nov 14.att started in april 15.last month completed the course.now again edema in subcutaneous...what is this subcutaneous..area..will a physician be able to deal with this?

Is there any particular doc to look out for in national institute.if u can pls tell me...also is that a gud institute for thos type of rare case.does they have expertise in drug resistance in extra pulmonary Tb

You can reach the institute and they have all specialties in the institute and they are well trained. A lot of times there is cross work that happens. Since they are experienced they should do the job well end to end.

cellulitis is soft tissue infection

Detailed Answer:
I would not be able to say if it is cellulitis or not. The diagnosis of cellulitis can be made with history and examination. Of course bacterial infections are common during TB treatment. Yes cefixime and drugs are given during AKT as well.

If your doctor says it to be cellulitis it needs proper debridement of the tissue, dressings, aseptic precautions and medications.
