Suggest Treatment For Dry Cough

Question: From last Friday, I am having cough which was dry in the beginning. Then after 2-3 days, getting sputum always with the cough. So I finally got Syrup Bro-Zedex. Some relief is there but still having the cough. Pl do suggest something

Your cough is nearly one week old and still troubling...
You may try saline gargles after food, lots of salt added house hold liquids and decongestant medicines like Sinarest for relief, usually the medicine needs to be taken thrice daily and you should avoid driving and operating machinery due to possible judgement errors.
If still the problem persists, better get reviewed by a physician and get investigations eg Chest Xray, CBC, ESR, throat swab for cultures, if required.
