Brief Answer:
Suspecting dehydration and electrolyte imbalance

Detailed Answer:
Hello sir and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. The most important aspect of your query in my opinion is the diarrhoea you have mentioned.

Diarrhoea results in loss of fluid as well as electrolytes, both of which can cause symptoms of dehydration and an electrolyte imbalance that can result in symptoms quite similar to those you have been experiencing.

So my advise to you would be the following:

1. Drink plenty of fluids to help replenish the lost fluids from your body (minimum 3 litres a day)

2. Find an over-the-counter ORS (oral rehydration solution) or buy yourself plenty of energy drinks (e.g. GATORADE) that also contain many electrolytes that can help replenish the lost electrolytes

3. Visit either a physician or a gastroenterologist to find the exact cause for your diarrhoea and accordingly treat it

I do believe that treating the diarrhoea, dehydration and electrolyte imbalance can result in a general improvement in your condition, but this is a step forward towards either complete treatment or at least ruling one possibility out. I hope you find my response helpful and would like you to know that I am here to help. Please feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.

Brief Answer:
Do not worry, let us take things one at a time

Detailed Answer:
Hi.

Joint pain and sore muscles are both symptoms of dehydration and/or an electrolyte imbalance, so try my current suggestions. Let us wait for a while and see if this helps, if it doesn't then we can look into other causes.

Do not worry, let us take one thing at a time. So please keep in touch and we shall reach the bottom of this at the earliest.

Best wishes.
