Virtually all brands of mesoprostol can be used orally as well as vaginally for abortion.

But mesoprostol is more efficient when used by the vaginal route( almost 93% effective).

Yes, if tablets put on the enterance of vagina.

Hi,

Nice to hear from you once again.

The drug effectiveness is decreased if you put the tablets in the enterance of vaginal opening.

For better absorption you have to put the drug as deep as possible in the vagina( near cervical opening in the uterus).

For better absorption wet the tablets before insertion.

The abortion pills can only be taken under supervision.

You can take one tablet of mesoprostol 24 hrs. after taking mifepristone vaginally and next tablet after 12 hrs.and repeat the drug on next day.

Bleeding usually starts 2-4 hrs. after taking mesoprostol.
