Question: Hi,
A XXXXXXX friend of mine who I just had sex with has this white thing in his Anus, I would like to know what it is, is it an STD? What is it exactly?
And is there any medication that I can take myself now to prevent me from being infected?

I am Dr.Kakkar (dermatologist and Venereologist). I have gone through your query and I have viewed the images.
I can see a fleshy, filiform growth at the anal margin and also a few other smaller growths nearby.
These are warts - condyloma acuminata.
Warts are caused by human papilloms virus (HPV). Genital and personal warts are considered STDs.
Perianal warts can be treated with either imiquimod, podophyllin/ podophyllotoxin or freezing. There is no immediate prophylactic medication for prevention of warts except that you can take a vaccine against the commonly prevalent genital HPV types to prevent future infections. The vaccine works to prevent infection against HPV types 6,11, 16,18 which are responsible for more than 90% of genital and personal warts.
Besides you must also screen for other STDs like HIV, HSV, Syphilis etc.

Hi, Thanks so much for the detailed explanation,basically all I did was rubbed my penis on his ass, would this infect me? And would it work if I take the Vaccine now? Or Vaccine should only be taken a long time before sexual contact with someone who is infected?
