Is Poking Sensation Throughout Left Leg Normal After Sleep Paralysis?

Question: My son is 12 and he woke up the other day and ended up getting sleep paralyses and after it went away is left leg has been feeling like sharp knives poking him. It is very sensitive to touch and it goes from the knee down below his foot. The pain is mainly on the top and sides of his leg plus on the bottom of the foot.
