Your doctor will give you a list of foods and medications to avoid 24-48 hours before you will do the test. All foods that contain iodine will need to be avoided.
Methadone it is not in that list, so I would say that you don't need to stop it while doing that test. But double check it with the list and instructions that your doctor will give.
