Brief Answer:
Probably side effect of Femilon..

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX.

Welcome to healthcaremagic. I understand your concern.

I am Dr.Senduran,General physician hope to answer your query..

Longterm use of hormonal contraceptive drugs like Femilon could be related to your unexplained mood change I.e feeling low and depressed. And studies have also shown that this may worsen the preexisting depression in patients.

I would suggest to discuss this with your treating doctor for considering an alternate therapeutic or contraceptive method(whichever is the indication) or atleast dose reduction if you need to continue the same.

In mean time, you can have a short course of safer antidepressant drugs belonging to SSRI's like escitalopram and benzodiazepines like clonazepam..

You need to visit a psychiatrist for the above prescription..

Do not worry,it ll be alright soon..

Hope I was helpful to some extent..If any further queries, don't hesitate..

Regards..
