Is Cesarean Surgery Advisable Over Normal Delivery?

my wife's delivery is due in few days..
can you suggest ne if sugerion is safe or we should try our beat for normal delivery. What are the consequences to mother and child in both the situations.

Normal delivery is better than cesarean in case surgery is not indicated.
That is why it is called normal delivery.
But in certain complicated cases where cesarean is recommended, there is no other choice.
But as it is now a days cesarean is also very safe so in case indicated as in abnormal presentation of the baby inside the uterus or if baby is too big to be delivered vaginally then no harm in getting cesarean done.
Vaginal delivery is considered better because there is no post operative hospitalisation and no operative risk, lesser blood loss and no abdominal scar.
So if there is no complications then better opt for normal delivery.
